Second Annual Auction Set for Non Profit Water Without Borders (WWB), a local 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, 2nd annual “A Drop In the Bucket” silent and live auction will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011 at the Villa Borghese in Wappingers Falls. Door open at 6:30 pm. There will be a ‘Happy Hour’ from 7-8 pm. Tickets are $50 each which includes the Happy Hour, appetizers and live music. The auction is held to raise money to provide sustainable sources of clean water to people in need, both domestic and international. WWB efforts help provide individuals or emerging countries that have unsafe drinking water with clean water for years to come. WWB can also carry out disaster relief missions as well as help families that may just need a simple under-the-counter water system. Union Vale Community Day June 5th The Union Vale Business Association is gearing up for this year’s fireworks display for Union Vale Community Day. Union Vale Community Day is scheduled for Sunday, June 5th 2011 at Tymor Park. Would you or your business be willing to support this year’s event? This will be the 11th show in the past 12 years of providing the fireworks for the attendees. The Business Association is inviting local businesses to be a part of one of the nicest community fireworks display in the area!
