In the Hudson Valley I’ve always believed that there are ten spectacular days a year. You know those special days when you wake up. Today was the first day that you knew for sure that the Fall was coming. It was 54 degrees this morning and was clear as a bell. It warmed up during the day.
Yesterday we got a horrendous storm which washed out part of the road and even formed a few tornadoes ( I always forget whether it is tornadoes or potatoes that has the extra e, I will check with the former VP) down in the City.
But today was clear and fresh and as the day went on the high puffy clouds started to form and you knew that it wouldn’t be long before the cool fall weather would be here, a beautiful day to remember.
