“The commercial is an unambiguous appeal to gun owners: a middle-aged hunter, rifle in hand, vows that he will fight to protect the Second Amendment. But in a sensible, father-of-the-house tone, he also urges voters to support comprehensive background checks, “so criminals and the dangerously mentally ill can’t buy guns.”
A few thoughts without my personal opinion:
1- Why does the man have his finger on the trigger?
2- It appears to be a shotgun not a rifle.
3-And if that guy is middle age, I must be older than dirt!
Anyone in the service knew the old poem about the difference between a rifle and gun. I do have opinions about gun control but have decided not to use this forum to express them, as I will surely piss off friends on both sides of the issue! They may get pissed off anyway.
