OK. we have these four kittens that were found on the porch when the mother, a feral cat decided we could provide a good home. They are doing fine, eating well and scurrying around the large cage they are living in. the idea was to hand train them, fix them and either find good homes for them (any takers out there welcomed~!) or turn them loose in the barn for generally mousing.
Last weekend we had house guests from Chicago who were attending a wedding up in Amenia. One of the kittens escaped and hid under the stove. They are cat people. I would have probably left the kitten under the stove until he came out but our guests decided to perform a rescue. As you can see it was successful but not easy.
Two of the kittens are pure black which I don’t see as a hindrance to their adoption. I keep looking under their tails but so far cant determine their gender although when they are spayed they will only be used for consulting.
