A reader sent this below video which assures all my pencil pusher readers that there are still people out there who put in a good day’s work. Hint… it ends happily and I cant quite figure out the language being spoken, part English and maybe part Polish.
I had a friend whose father was an old time iron worker who was from England and worked on the top of high rise steel buildings. I saw him take down a steel tower once and it was amazing. Everyone used to say that the high steel workers were Mohawk Indians and many of them were but Joe’s dad was what were called herring chokers, a pleasant term for Englishmen.
