Donald Trump uses the words America First often. Has no one told him the history of that term? America First was the organization that among other things filled Madison Square Garden with 20,000 people who refused to stand up to the Nazi invasion of Europe, the fall of France,Hitler’s pact with the Soviet Union, and the Japanese miltary buildup.
Charles Lindbergh among many others, were members of the organization which was disbanded after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Below the venom that Lindbergh spewed in a speech at the Hollywood Bowl in 1941.

The rally in Los Angeles was billed as “Peace and Preparedness Mass Meeting,” In his speech of that day, Lindbergh criticized those movements which he perceived were leading America into the war. He proclaimed that the United States was in a position that made it virtually impregnable and pointed out that when interventionists said “the defense of England,” they really meant “defeat of Germany.” Lindbergh’s presence at the Hollywood Bowl rally was overshadowed, however, by the presence of fringe elements in the crowd.

Nothing did more to escalate the tensions than the speech Lindbergh delivered to a rally in Des Moines, Iowa on September 11, 1941. In that speech above he identified the forces pulling America into the war as the British, the Roosevelt administration, and the Jews.

Trump’s Jews are the Mexicans and Muslims of today.
